Akvopedia and Akvo are trademarks of the nonprofit [[Netherlands Water Partnership]]. It is anticipated that as soon as the [[Akvo Foundation]] (Stichting Akvo) has been set up, the trademarks will be transferred to the Akvo Foundation.
All of the text in the Akvopedia, and most of the images and other content, is covered by the [http://en.wikipediacreativecommons.org/wikilicenses/GNU_Free_Documentation_License GNU Free Documentation Licenseby-sa/3.0/ Creative Commons Share-Alike 3.0] (GFDL)license. Contributions remain the property of their creators, while the GFDL license ensures the content is freely distributable and reproducible.
