WECF strives for a Healthy Environment for All. We use women 's potential in balancing environment, health and children in particular - by collecting economy. WECF's activities are based on its partners individual visions and storing rainwater in water tanks needs. Therefore WECF implements solutions locally and wellsinfluences policy internationally.

Started in December 2003WECF is a network that works on the following issues: agriculture, RAIN focuses on field implementation of small-scale rainwater harvesting projectschemicals, energy, gender, capacity building of local organisations health and water. Regarding water and knowledge exchange sanitation, WECF works on a global scale. Rainwater harvesting offers a high-potential solution the access to supplying safe drinking waterand proper sanitary facilities for everyone. When starting a project on this issue, thereby empowering WECF starts with raising awareness of the risks of drinking polluted water. They provide the possibility for people to improve test their livelihoods by providing them with more security own drinking water and new choicesexplain their rights to safe drinking water.

RAIN supports WECF prefers to use preventive methods to improve the water quality. WECF fights the construction dump of rainwater harvesting systems at household waste, human and communal level (public spaces such as schools, community centres animal waste and pesticides and health centres)introduces methods of organic farming to prevent pesticides from polluting the drinking water.
