How to contribute

The Akvo team is committed to making the Akvopedia a great source of useful information, with the goal of helping to improve water and sanitation projects. But we cannot do it without you, because you might be the person who has the local knowledge, you might be the person who is or knows an expert in a specific technology, you might be the person that has great pictures or movies of a technology. We need you!

Akvopedia is open source, and anybody can edit it. You too! Just follow this graphical guide to get you started. More detailed information about editing wiki articles is available in the help pages: Help:Contents

Editorial support

Do you have good content that you would like to contribute, but you lack the time or the resources? Would you like to propose a new item, or do you need help with putting content in the pages? Akvopedia offers free editorial services, provided by our editor Mark Tiele Westra. Please contact him at m.t.westraakvo.org.

Due to automatic spam bots, which create pages in the Akvopedia with links to inappropriate material, we have disabled the creation of new pages for the time being. If you need a new page created, please contact us at m.t.westraakvo.org.
