The Commercial / entrepreneurial approaches portal illustrates how small scale entrepreneurs, local private companies and larger private sector organizations driven by either livelihood necessity or profit motives provide water and sanitation services.

We are working on making this portal broad in scope in order to contain diverse strategies from which one can derive the appropriate approaches for a particular context. Many of these approaches can be or must be combined and we hope the site can be a source of inspiration for those who are trying to improve water, sanitation, and hygiene conditions.
