Aim —
The New Zealand Aid Programme is the New Zealand Government's international aid and development programme. Its mission is to support sustainable development in developing countries in order to reduce poverty and contribute to a more secure, equitable and prosperous world. It is managed by development specialists in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade.
To deliver its mission, the aid programme focuses on stimulating sustainable economic development. It has a geographic focus on the New Zealand's own region, the Pacific.
