Clean water lies at the crux of many challenges facing African people - health, education, human rights. The H2OAfrica Foundation supports sustainable, integrated water programs, sustainable in that projects are accompanied by training and maintenance to create a program that will live for the long run and integrated in that the activity will complement other programs in the region, such as education and infrastructure development. Co-founded by actor Matt Damon, H2O Africa is raising creating widespread public awareness about of the African water crisis, in Africa and facilitating gathering support for cost-effective and impactful work that eradicates clean water programs in critical areas, including communities along the problem in targeted regions of AfricaRunning the Sahara route.
