'''Women in Europe for a Common Future''' The Water Supply and Sanitation Collaborative Council (WECFWSSCC) is a network global multi-stakeholder partnership organisation that works to improve the lives of poor people. WSSCC enhances collaboration among sector agencies and professionals around sanitation and water supply and contributes to the broader goals of women's poverty eradication, health and environmental organisations improvement, gender equality and long-term social and economic development. The activities undertaken by WSSCC were recognized in 30 countries throughout Central Asia and Europethe United Nations General Assembly resolution A/RES/45/181 of 21 December 1990. WSSCC is hosted by the World Health Organization (WHO). WECF strives for WSSCC has a Healthy Environment for All. We use women's potential network of national WASH Coalitions in balancing environment, health 36 countries and economyindividual members in nearly 100 countries. WECF's activities are based on its partners individual visions WSSCC works through three programmes: Networking & Knowledge Management, Advocacy & Communications and needsthe Global Sanitation Fund. Therefore WECF implements solutions locally WSSCC ’s mission is to achieve sustainable water supply and influences policy internationallysanitation for all people.
WECF is Through Networking and Knowledge Management, WSSCC provides a network that works on the following issues: agriculture, chemicals, energy, gender, health neutral space in which individuals and organisations concerned with water. Regarding water and , sanitation, WECF works on the access to safe drinking water and proper sanitary facilities for everyone. When starting a project on this issue, WECF starts with raising awareness of the risks of drinking polluted water. They provide the possibility hygiene for poor people to test their own drinking water in developing countries can network and explain their rights to safe drinking watershare ideas.
WECF prefers Through Advocacy and Communications, WSSCC promotes global and national advocacy efforts by members and partners to use preventive methods to improve raise awareness of the water quality. WECF fights humiliating and harmful social environment of the dump of household wasteunserved poor, human especially women and animal waste children, and pesticides and introduces methods to facilitate lasting change by urgingplacement of organic farming to prevent pesticides from polluting the drinking water. WECF also installs ecological toilets with watertight containers to stop faecal bacteria leaking into supply, adequate sanitation and hygiene firmly on the ground waterpolitical agenda. In case Through the results these preventive methods are not sufficient Global Sanitation Fund, WSSCC supports national efforts to guarantee safe drinking water, WECF cooperates with experts, the local population, universities and governments help larger numbers of poor people to implement attain sustainable access to basic sanitation and affordable solutions. Possible solutions are the cleaning of existing wells and the construction of new wellsto adopt good hygiene practices.
