USAID solicits innovative proposals to efficiently, effectively and sustainably address the needs for disaster risk reduction and climate change adaptation together among vulnerable populations in Indonesia.

2.Improve Indonesia’s capacities for disaster risk reduction as well as climate change adaptation among civil society organizations, the government and the private sector

Criteria — 1. Technical quality and innovation of the concept paper, including having clear objectives and goals, and impact potential 2. Demonstrated results to be achieved, beyond a sequence of activities 3. Technical and administrative capacity to manage proposed program 4. Cost effectiveness and value of cost share contributions 5. Demonstrated experience and track record of the applicants in the proposed area of work
How to apply
Application procedure — This is a two-stage process. First, applicants are required to submit short concept papers. Concept papers should demonstrate the approach and describe results that could be achieved should funding be awarded by USAID, but do not need to be in the format or detail of a full proposal. These will be reviewed using the criteria set forth below. Those most highly rated will be invited to participate in the second stage – submission of a full application.
