Dear AKVO-web visitor!
We know AKVO from the very enthusistic start at the World Water Week Conference in Stockholm already some time ago. We knew this website too and contributed to it with how Demotech's work relate to AKVO. But now I check this contribution, it has disappeared.
Reason to start again and keep a closer contact. We regard the AKVO-concept very innovative and trust it may also have some promises for our ongoing projects.
In project cooperation with Aqua for All we now will bring forward a proposal for work in Guatemala. Search the relevant pages of this AKVO-website and soon you can read about our plans.
There is a lot info about Demotech to be found. Of course their is our website htp://www.demotech.org . All our designs are to be found at http://www.demotech.org/d-design/d-alldesign.php , many regarding water and sanitation
A special initiative that welcomes your participation is that of the Hy2U for washing hands. Hy2U is short for Hygiene to you, with a salute to you integrated in that short name. It is about making washing hands possible where there is no piped water. Recent work is done in Ethiopia. Please go to the dedicated Hy2U-website and for a very inspiring introduction see this YouTube video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SOK5YLY89jw
Recieve our regards and contact us for additional information.
