Criteria — two key criteria: It must reflect national or regional priorities and have the support of the country or countries involved, and it must improve the global environment or advance the prospect of reducing risks to it.

How to apply


Application procedure — The country office will advise you on the eligibility of your proposal through the GEF and on your options for the different types of grants. If your proposal is considered eligible, our regional coordinators work with the country office to guide you through eligibility criteria and the GEF project cycle.
