बीएसपी-नेपाल का लक्ष्य है गुणवत्तापूर्ण पानी की मात्रा और उस तक (प्रमुखत: वर्षा जल) पहुंच बढ़ाना और साफ सफाई के लिए बुनियादी ढांचा निर्मित करना, भूजल रिचार्ज, निजी सफाई में सुधार और घरेलू व पर्यावरण सफाई, खासतौर पर दूरदराज रहने वाले बच्चों, महिलाओं, गरीबों और हाशिए वाले लोगों तथा समुदायोंं के बीच. इन सुधारों से आजीविका सुधार में पानी के कई इस्तेमाल सामने आते हैं.
