Before creating an article, check that one doesn't already exist, possibly under a slightly different name. Enter the subject title that you are looking for in the search field and click 'Search' (see figure 1). If you want to see if a specific name for a page exists, type in your page name, e.g. Pumps for kids, and click "Go"... this will bring up the page directly. If it does not exist, you will be notified.

If for instance, you put "pumps Pumps for kids" in the search fieldand click "Go" instead of "search", then if no articles exact page names are found, the akvopedia system will respond with '''There were no results matching the query.''' Then below that it will say, '''Create the page "Pumps for kids" on this wiki!''' (see figure 2). You can go ahead and create the page for the article by clicking the link for your "Page name" that you see. Be careful: the page you create will be given the name used in the search field!
