“Partners for Water” is a programme that aims to strengthen the international position of the Dutch water sector by uniting forces (private sector, public sector, non-profit sector and knowledge institutes). The programme 'Partners for Water' is a joint initiative of six departments of the Government of the Netherlands:
* Ministry of Transport, Water Management and Public Works (lead)
* Ministry of Economic Affairs
* Ministry of Foreign Affairs, including the Directorate General for International Cooperation
* Ministry of Housing, Spatial Planning and the Environment
