Un Retrete Seco es un retrete que opera sin agua. El Retrete Seco puede ser un pedestal elevado en el que se puede sentar el usuario, o una placa turca sobre la que el usuario se pone en cuclillas. En ambos casos los excre- mentos (orina y heces) caen en un hoyo.
