Four simple components to the H2Optima unit: the Photovoltaic modules, the Purification Block, the Flip-top structure, and the Transport frame.

The H2Optima solar powered water treatment and purification unit is an autonomous and portable element designed to produce potable water for a human and/or agricultural use, from brackish, sea water or contaminated water, with no need of any external artificial energy source rather than sun, thanks to the solar panels built-in.

The units incorporate its own chlorination system, also powered by the same FV panels, thus outgoing water is already protected by a 0,5 g/m3 chlorine.

It is important to highlight that, besides contaminated salts, viruses and bacteria are also eliminated as they can’t go through the membranes.

There are three basic sizes, one for each type of water to be processed and a fourth one to be used as emergency unit” that will include the main elements of the first three to be chosen when there is no time or resources for a previous analysis of the existing water.

Technical Features

Phase 0: Connect the inputs and outputs of water.
Phase 1: Guide the midday sun.
Phase 2: Unlock and tilt power module.
Phase 3: Deploy photovoltaic modules.
  • Does not depend on any input of energy.
  • Suitable for any type of water, from slightly contaminated water to sea water.
  • Easily transportable to the point of use, thanks to its small size.
  • No installation required.
  • Compact and lightweight device with a pull-down structure of the photovoltaic modules to expand the area of solar radiation.
  • Intelligent management of energy produced and consumed by the device.
  • FULLY AUTOMATIC: Its management does not require specialized personnel.
  • Producing potable water anywhere and at low cost.
  • Reverse osmosis to remove dissolved salts in water.
  • High-performance photovoltaic modules for energy production.

Dimensions

Approximate overall sizes are 1,60 x 1,20 meters and 0,95 meters high, when packed for transportation. Those sizes have been designed for optimisation of packing, storing and shipping. Weight around 450 kgs (depending type of unit). These sizes make it ideal to be moved easily.

Applications

  • Purification of water for daily use
  • Agricultural Sector
  • Livestock Sector
  • Emergency Water Purification
  • ONG
  • Military Sector

Advantages

  • Lightweight
  • Compact, rigid and robust
  • Quick set up
  • Portability
  • Modulation capability
  • No specialized personnel required
