Finance mechanism: Dependend on project, the aim is 100%. Contribution will be paid in three periods, depending on progress, results and expected number of companies to participate.
Budget: Around €2,000,000 per tender round in 2010

Aim — Promotion of trade, investments and cooperation of Dutch companies in foreign markets by means of providing opportunities to attend in collective promotional activities

More information — The activity must aim for the promotion of Dutch companies in foreign markets. At least 6 companies must attend the activity.

Specific organisations targeted — Dutch and European entrepreneurs and organisations that organize trade missions

Criteria — Assessment of the proposals is performed on the following criteria:

  1. The experience of the applicant in organizing similar activities
  2. The relation with and knowledge of Dutch target group
  3. The knowledge of the target group in the objective country
  4. The price/quality ratio
  5. The market and sector combination
  6. The added value

How to apply


Application procedure — There are 2 general European tender rounds per year. Depending on the response to these tenders the EVD can decide to conduct an project tender rounds with specific focus on certain projects or areas.

Selection procedure — Project proposals will be ranked by an external evaluation commission using a point system and the 7 criteria.
