标准规格的水泵，其社区管理方面的应用前景有限，但仍不失为一种可靠的工具，在当地社区广泛使用。除标准规格的水泵外，还有另一种顶缸上方开口的水泵，这种泵便于维修，其顶缸有直径50毫米、63.5毫米和75毫米不同的尺寸可供选择。为便于维护，若泵杆配有硬化的衔接钩和接孔，其规格统一为直径16毫米。
