Me and my colleague Henk Holtslag (who works with low-cost water technology, including the rope pump, for 20 years in 20 countries) are very interested in your experiences in Malawi. To get a clearer picture, could you perhaps tell us a little bit about the particular situation, for example, how many families to community that tried to rope pump consists of, where the rope pump was constructed, which pump they gave their preference to in the end, and if a supply chain exists for the spare parts of this pump?
