===പ്രായോഗികാനുഭവങ്ങള്‍===
In Nepal, multiple-use water systems were introduced by Nepal Smallholder Market Initiative നേപ്പാള്‍ സ്മാള്‍ഹോള്‍ഡര്‍ മാര്‍ക്കറ്റ് ഇനീഷ്യേറ്റീവ് (SIMI), International Development Enterprise ഇന്റര്‍നേഷണല്‍ ഡെവലപ് മെന്റ് എന്റര്‍പ്രൈസ് (IDE), and വിന്‍റോക്ക് (Winrock)എന്നീ സംഘടനകളുടെ നേതൃത്വത്തിലാണ് നേപ്പാളില്‍ വിവിധോപയോഗ ജലസേവനങ്ങള്‍ തുടങ്ങിയത്. The systems consist of collection tanks at springs or small streams diversionsനീരുറവകളിലും, which deliver water to a reservoir near a village by gravity flow through a pipeഅരുവികളിലും സ്ഥാപിക്കുന്ന സംഭരണ ടാങ്കുകളില്‍ നിന്നും വെള്ളം ഭൂഗുരുത്വാകര്‍ഷണത്തിന്റെ ശക്തി മാത്രമുപയോഗിച്ച് പൈപ്പുകളിലൂടെ ഗ്രാമത്തിലുള്ള ജലസംഭരണിയിലേക്ക് പമ്പു ചെയ്യുന്ന സംവിധാനമാണവയിലൊന്ന്. These systems serve 10-മുതല്‍ 40 householdsവരെ കുടുംബങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് ഈ സംവിധാനത്തിലൂടെ വെള്ളം കിട്ടുന്നുണ്ട്. ഈ വെള്ളം ഗാര്‍ഹികാവശ്യങ്ങള്‍ക്കും, which use the water both for domestic purposes and horticultureകൃഷിക്കും ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നു. The introduction of drip irrigation systems ensured an efficient use of the water and better plant growthതുള്ളി നന അഥവാ ഡ്രിപ് ഇറിഗേഷന്‍ സംവിധാനം ചെടികള്‍ വളരാനുള്ള സാഹചര്യം കുറേക്കൂടെ മെച്ചപ്പെടുത്തിയിട്ടുണ്ട്. Sixty percent of drip irrigation users apply water from the domestic systemഡ്രിപ് ഇറിഗേഷന്‍ ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നവരില്‍ അറുപതു ശതമാനം പേരും ഗാര്‍ഹിക ജല സംവിധാനങ്ങളെയാണ് ആശ്രയിക്കുന്നത്.
