Restructuring steps, text changes

== Step 1 - Creation of a page Search for an existing article == Before creating an article, try to make sure there isncheck that one doesn't already an articleexist, perhaps possibly under a slightly different name. If a search does not find your article, consider broadening Broaden your searchand look around a bit to prevent multiple articles being written on the same subject.

== Step 3 - Add content ==

Enter the text of the article.

You may want to copy and paste the structure of this [[Format akvopedia page|example page]] into your new article. It contains content typical of Akvopedia pages.

== Step 2 - Adding text ==  Your information can be added. [[Format akvopedia To copy the example page|This structure, open the page]] contains in a 'standard' akvopedia new browser window or tab. Select the Edit tab at the top of the page set up.

Copy the HTML text and paste it into your Akvopedia page. Add your information, related external links and pictures; delete any irrelevant HTML. To format your information, check this [[List of functions|cheatsheet]] for a list of options.

Your page will be created with the title you entered in the search field.

In the Akvopedia, this syntax is used to display a picture: '''<nowiki>[[Image:Akvo_africa.jpg|thumb|right|150px|Image title]]</nowiki>'''. Copy and paste this syntax in the Akvopedia article you are editing, changing the image name to correspond to your uploaded picture.

You can simply 'copy' If you copied the format and 'paste' it in structure of the new [Format akvopedia page that you created via the search field and edit option. == Step 3 - = Adding a picture movie/animation ===

  == Step 5 - Editing a page == When you want to To change the content of a akvopedia an Akvopedia page, simply click the 'Edit' and change whatever you wanttab to return to the article's source structure. Then repeat step 4Make your changes, fill in the Summary box, then save the page.
